Standard work hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am-7pm, and any out-of-hours works are indicated below. All works will follow approved noise and traffic management plans, and every effort will be made to minimise impacts. Rail corridor
- intermittent works in and around the rail corridor between 7am and 7pm, monday to saturday (adjacent businesses and residents will be advised of any out-of-hours works).
- heavy machinery, equipment and workers accessing the area
- temporary road and path closures may be required to bring equipment to site
- vibrations, noise, and dust will be managed.
Temporary bus interchange - from 11 May
To support construction of the permanent bus interchange, the existing interchange will close.
A temporary bus interchange will open on Sunday, 11 May, located in front of the current station on the former car park site.
Bus services will continue without interruption, though some timetable adjustments may occur later to allow for increased walking time.
What to expect
- with the closure of the existing bus interchange and the opening of the temporary one, pedestrian and cycling routes will change
- follow the designated paths shown on the map below and avoid construction areas for your safety
